What to expect for 2012

We’re already gearing up for Cherokee’s 2012 season! Mountainside Theatre will be adding a new show to run along with Unto These Hills drama. Starting on July 14th, the new show, a contemporary Cherokee piece, will run every other night.

Oconaluftee Indian Village will also have a new look and feel. We are shifting to a more lifelike, interactive Village. 2012 is the 250th anniversary of Timberlake’s “Emissaries of Peace-the 1762 Cherokee and British Delegations”, and we will hold events with the Cherokee Indian Museum and portray some of these delegations at our Indian Village!

We can’t wait to see you at Cherokee in 2012!
